Pyramind in association with I Love Music Academy

“Pyramind is excited to partner with the I Love Music Academy in India. I truly believe India is the future of music in Asia and education is going to play a vital role in the development of talent. ILM is one of the top music production training facilities in the country and Pyramind will be the destination for post-ILM graduates to attend an advanced-level certification at our facilities in San Francisco.”- Dheeraj Sareen (Marketing Division, Pyramind Training)

Music surrounds us everywhere – on TV and the radio, at restaurants and bars, even in the elevator you use to get to work every day. This is all part of the field of audio engineering, in which a musician’s creations are ‘produced’ – that is, transformed into the polished tracks you hear on your music system. Audio engineers are the future of digital music, and their career track begins by mastering computer software and hardware to produce their own compositions. As an audio engineer, one can either specialize in one part of the recording technique or master the entire process, right to the stage when a final project is submitted to a client.

I Love Music Academy: Audio Engineering Course

The Audio Engineering course at I Love Music Academy will show students how to put down their ideas and those of other musicians, and how to record and produce tracks in a studio to achieve a professional sound. The program begins by covering the theory and different styles of music. We then explore the studio recording space, with an emphasis on micing techniques, sound transmission, audio dynamics, and mixing and mastering techniques, both in the analog and digital realms. Students are taught the ins and outs of 3 DAWs (Digital Audio Workstations). All these concepts will be followed up with hands-on projects in which students are required to log in studio time. Our AE Studio is equipped with state-of-the-art hardware and software.

By the conclusion of the course, students will be able to write their own music, and be able to engineer a performing artist or band in a studio or in a live setting. They’ll know all about studio construction and sound synthesis. They will also be equipped to enter the media industry, whether by writing jingles or creating audio for video and/or radio.

Pyramind Training: DSP Course

The Core is the foundation of Pyramind’s training programs. This full-time, 8-month training program combines three pillars of success: Creativity, Technology, and Business. The Core is designed for career-minded students seeking to become active music producers and content creators in today’s professional audio industry.
The Digital Sound Producer (DSP) is the most complete curriculum offered by Pyramind Training, providing advanced training in all aspects of sound production. The DSP is comprised of the 8-month Core followed by the 4-month Advanced DSP program. Students interested in the DSP should be prepared for an intense and rewarding education that will prepare them for some of the most demanding jobs in the industry.

I Love Music + Pyramind

Pyramind offers an advanced-level certification that continues from where the Audio Engineering course at I Love Music Academy concludes. Students who have graduated from I Love Music Academy and wish to further their study can avail of a special benefit at the Pyramind campus in San Francisco. The DSP course for I Love Music graduates will be custom-designed to only include material that was not covered during the Audio Engineering course, thereby reducing the course duration and fee for I Love Music students.
